Event staffing quote FAQ
Clear answers on timing, pricing, employment, multi-city coverage, and replacements.
How quickly can I get an event staffing quote?
TempGuru reviews complete requests and coordinates the availability response. Planned events should usually be scoped 2–4 weeks ahead. Urgent requests may be workable with 2–3 days’ notice. The typical 24–48 hour window after scope and rates are approved is an availability response, not a guaranteed completed roster.
What information do you need to price event staffing?
Send the venue address, event dates, shift times, role-by-role headcount, duties, attire, required credentials, on-site contact, and any check-in or replacement rules. TempGuru uses those details to confirm local coverage and prepare a written, loaded bill rate.

What does TempGuru event staffing cost?
TempGuru does not use one national rate band. Use the matching city guide for current role-specific planning ranges. The final quote depends on the city, role, credentials, shift length, event dates, and lead time, and identifies approved event-specific charges before confirmation.
Who employs workers supplied through TempGuru?
The vetted local partner agency assigned to the order employs and pays the workers it supplies. For US orders, they are the agency's W-2 employees. For Canadian orders, they are employed locally by the assigned partner agency under applicable Canadian employment and payroll rules. The agency handles payroll, employment records, and insurance applicable to its workers and the accepted order.

Can one staffing request cover multiple cities and roles?
Yes. One request can cover multiple markets, event dates, and roles, including registration, brand ambassadors, ushers, guest services, bartenders, hospitality staff, and set-up crews. TempGuru coordinates the local partners through one operating plan and billing workflow.
What happens if an assigned worker cancels?
The coordinator follows the replacement and escalation terms documented for the order, checks the local bench, and reports status to the named event contact. Same-week backfills may be supported in select markets on a best-effort basis; TempGuru does not publish a universal same-day replacement promise.
Does TempGuru have a minimum shift, headcount, or order value?
Each shift has a four-hour minimum. There is no minimum headcount, minimum order value, or minimum spend. Confirm the minimum shift and applicable charges in the written quote.
What are TempGuru's customer payment and deposit terms?
Customer payment terms are Net 30. A deposit is required when the estimated job value exceeds $1,000. The accepted written order controls the final commercial terms.
