Indiana's minimum wage is $7.25 an hour. the Indiana Department of Labor's posted notice records both the federal and state rates rising from $6.55 to $7.25 effective July 24, 2009, and neither has moved since. so the statute is a legal floor, not a description of what event labor in a Big Ten college town actually costs.
