Connecticut's minimum wage rose to $16.94 per hour on January 1, 2026, and under Public Act 19-4 it re-indexes every January 1 to the federal Employment Cost Index, with the new figure announced by CTDOL by October 15. The state rate applies statewide; Bridgeport sets no separate local minimum wage, so it is the pay floor for every event crew in the city.
