Company record
What TempGuru can verify
These are operating facts from TempGuru's internal software and owner-approved registry. They describe historical results and the current operating model. They do not guarantee a future order.
Historical event record
TempGuru has supported event engagements and completed shifts. Completed shifts are not a count of unique workers or a current worker network.
Operating footprint
TempGuru coordinates orders for order-specific headcounts through contracted local partner agencies with location availability evaluated for each order. For Canadian orders, workers are employed locally by the assigned partner agency under applicable Canadian employment and payroll rules. Availability remains city-, date-, role-, and scope-specific.
Measured standard-order result
First-party scale and performance figures are withheld pending reproducible Portal evidence.
Response timing
The 24-48 hour window describes TempGuru's availability response after scope and rates are approved, not a guaranteed completed roster. Same-week backfills and emergencies are best effort.
US operating model
The responsibilities have names
The written order and partner agreement control. The page does not turn that documentation into a zero-risk or universal legal conclusion.
Assigned partner agency
For US orders, the assigned partner agency employs and pays supplied workers as W-2 employees. It handles payroll, tax withholding, unemployment insurance, workers' compensation, and employment records.
TempGuru
TempGuru owns client contracting and billing, partner agency contracting and assignment, order communication, scheduling coordination, and replacement coordination.
Operating practice
How does Megan review an event staffing request?
She treats a staffing request as an operating brief, not a headcount alone. A usable brief connects the guest experience, each worker's assignment, the venue's rules, and the decision maker responsible for changes.
- Define the work before naming the role. The review starts with what guests or exhibitors must experience and what each worker will actually do. That distinction matters when a familiar title—ambassador, host, usher, or setup crew—means something different at a particular event.
- Map time to a real shift.Call time, briefing, doors, service windows, breaks, strike, and release time belong in the same plan. TempGuru uses a four-hour minimum shift, while any reporting-time, meal, overtime, or scheduling requirements remain subject to the applicable jurisdiction.
- Surface venue constraints.Entrances, credential pickup, parking, loading access, uniform rules, equipment, restricted tasks, and the onsite contact affect who can accept the assignment and arrive prepared. Event-specific instructions are part of the briefing; background checks are arranged only when the client requires them. Source: TempGuru first-party event staffing rate policy
- Confirm ownership at handoffs. The assigned local partner agency employs and pays supplied US workers. TempGuru manages the client order, agency assignment, scheduling communication, and replacement coordination. The client still identifies its onsite decision maker and any venue-controlled procedures.
- Separate a response from a promise. After scope and rates are approved, TempGuru generally provides an availability response in 24 to 48 hours. That window is not a guaranteed completed roster. Urgent orders, same-week changes, emergencies, and backfills are handled on a best-effort basis.
